"This is another "Old School" beer. Used to drink this in the day, when stuff was cheap and looking for alternatives to bud. I also remember this being a better beer, than it is now....but everything domestic seems worse to me now. The typical watery lager, that looks like pee. Maybe a little bit better and cleaner than bud, but not much. I'd rather buy Yuengling if I'm in that price bracket."

"When Rolling Rock was brewed independently, in Old Latrobe, I thought it was the cleanest, most refreshing beer on the planet, a treasured old favorite. Since the AB/InBev takeover, it might as well be Keystone Light... must have been the water! Good-bye, Rolling Rock, I miss you!"

"I drink commercial beers from the bottle. This keeps me from smelling the beer, which can help make bad beer go down easy. That's not to say this beer is bad. It goes down almost like plain old seltzer water. Nice, clean, and it has alcohol, so what can I say? I'll take this over Heineken, the king of skunky, hoppy beers.
It has 'rock' and 'roll' in the name. It's a painted label. That's better than a lot of other middle-of-the-road lagers out there..."

"Poured into a pint glass from a 12 oz. bottle.
The appearance is like any other American Adjunct Lager: a clear straw colour. The thin white head is gone very quickly and leaves little to no lacing.
The smell is mostly of corn with quite a bit of skunky flavour. The taste is much of the same, except there is some grainy taste with the corn.
The mouthfeel is thin and watery with high carbonation, which is suitable for the style. Drinkability would be higher if not for a sickeningly sweet taste at the finish.
Now that I've tasted Rolling Rock, I hope never to do so again. It's not so bad that it's undrinkable, but I would rather drink Bud for its cheaper price."
