"An amber appearance. The aroma is a bit foul and makes you put your cup down and back up off it. A watery beer with little flavor and what flavor that is there is not good. Some dark malt and a yeasty doughy thing going on. This sucks."

"usually enjoying 'in between' beers, thought i'd like this, but this didnt do much for me. BOTM has got to miss once in a while............Not much head here hints at the watery finish. Light hops are stretching to balance doughy german malt flavor. and yes......cardboard. A bit sweet fruity aftertaste lingers. well, its drinkable; soft on the palate, but falls short in the end. where the ballast?"

"Another of the rio grande products i scored in atlanta at summits. Not particularly great too say the least. Very cloudy yellow with a lawn clipping aroma and a taste to match. Better than the pils."

"Medium dark amber color. Small to no head. Aroma is caramel, sweet and honey. A medium to light bodied ale. Malts are fruity and estery, with a touch of cardboard and honey. Hops are slightly bitter. Not really sure just what this beer is supposed to be. The main flavors are malts, think of a nearly flat watered down coke, and the hops are mostly missing. WHATEVERÖ..At least this bottle was drinkable; the first was so bad I poured it out before even pouring it in the glass. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a large touch of cardboard."

"The aroma is bready-like with malt prevalent with some hints of hops present. The appearance is surprising and is a deep copper in color with a small, lacy head on top that is stringy and diminishes quickly to non-existant. The mouthfeel is not bad and is medium-bodied with applicable balance and decent complexity. The flavor is somewhat flowery with grapefruit, hop bitter with a pretty smooth pallet and finish. Overall, typical lager but darker in color than predicted and is refreshing and not as bad as I initially expected. "
