"Tis' the season for oktoberfest brews. The aroma of this one is very sweet and malty, as well as, bready-like with maybe some very slight bitter notes. The appearance is a rusty orange to copper amber in color with a medium sized head that diminishes leaving uneven lacing on the glass that is off-white in color. The mouthfeel is light to medium in body with decent malty complexity and has relatively good balance with a pallet that is a bit thin. The flavor is very sweet and malty with some breadiness and faint hops with an aftertaste that is strange and is bitter to sour-like and almost unpleasant with a finish that is refreshing and pretty good but a bit watery. Overall, this is not a bad oktoberfest but I have had much better and the sourness factor is strange but, nonetheless, this is a brew to sample and to experience. Also, this one seems a bit too bitter for the style but, afterall, it is an American representation."

"Pours a nice, dark, translucent coppery brown with a decent head. Aroma is strong and malty, with overtones of spice. Flavor is rich and lively and mainly malty, and has hints of cloves and cinnamon. There is just a little hop component and minimal bitterness. Leaves a jazzy, pleasant aftertaste."
