Generously hopped, this is a full-bodied reddish amber ale that offers a clean, sparkling finish. Brewed using the finest two row malt and North American and European hops.

"I cellared this for three months to bring out the finer qualities. Nice amber beer with decent carbs and a small rocky tan head with some slippery lacing. Aroma ok with biscuity malts, some dark fruit, a touch of stink and the slightest hint of smoke - that's probally due to the brewery being forced to use cigarette butts in the filtering system because of the failing economy. Taste was really good. The hops were a bit too strong but mixed in with the malts it's not bad at all. The malts are not the best but there enough of them to give a good ammount of flavour overall. There is a faint hint of oxydization but nothing to slice your wrists over. Mouthfeel is weak and a bit on the rough side. There is a bad tasting bitter aftertaste. My belch sounded like rocks getting pulzerized with a sledgehammer."

"Crystal clear honey brown, fairly large head with amazing retention, this beer looks way better then I ever imagined it would. Peanuts!!!! I swear I smell peanuts. Slightly sour smelling, what the hell where did the smell go after I inhaled the sour peanut smell all the sent vanished, where did it go? This beer feels soft and thick, very creepy feeling, yuck. The taste is watery and nutty, but it pretty much taste like nothing, hello taste where are you. The only way I can describe the taste of this beer is bland and just plain old sucks, I guess it could be worse but I don’t see how, this was very close to getting the dishonorable dump down the sink, thank god this was a free beer. "pours a amberish color with a sudsy style head that lasted a while, insanely amount of bubbles goin on here... bubbalicious!! the aroma is of fruit, honey and malts. the taste is sorta honeyish... mouthfeel feels a bit sticky, but is medium bodied non the less. this is a good beer, easy drinking, easy to enjoy and easy to chug down."

"this beer was horrible. it smelt like dirty feet, and tasted awful. what does it say about newfoundland when there best beers are the mass produced swill bush beers."

"Pours a copper color with a 1 finger rocky head that reduces to a sticky ring…moderate to soft carbonation (A bonus point)…wisps of fruit, honey and mustiness to the nose. Starts mild then the sweet malts come on with a wild honey effect that is balanced by enough tart hops to not become cloying. silky mouth feel (very smooth ale)… the finish is not as fast as I was lead to believe and lingers a bit where the caramel balanced malt gives way to the hops with a strange but nice bittering effect where some metallic earthiness is left on the tongue….a nice drinkable micro ale…..possibly a tad pronounced on the malt side for some but I like it and would recommend you try it.
