Deep red colour. Scent of malt and almond. Quite full-bodied, good malt character with hints of chocolat and a bitter finish.

"Clear and dull reddish brown with a tiny faint skiff of a cap, beer looks ok but boring. I’m getting a moderate amount of hops, mild coffee, roasted malts and a slight sourness in the aroma. This aroma is interesting a little on the light side but ok. Flavour is very nutty with mild hops, slight coffee; malts are smooth and rich with a slight caramel flavour. Taste is very rich and complex I can see myself drinking a ton of this."

"I had to open 2 bottles just to get in the review cause I like it so much I just pounded it.
Gots me a huge rocky, light tan crown that simmered to just above a skim for both glass fulls. Brilliant clear red / copper brew with light patchy lacing. The aroma is strong and very appealing with its thick, rich and fragrant caramel hops, almonds (thx pootz, dead on) and mild hops. Taste is also on the rich side with lots of caramel malts but that goes hand in hand with the perfect ammount of piney hops and slight nuttiness - a good balance indeed. Light medium bodied, smooth carbonation and finishes nicely with a suprisingly bitter aftertaste. An excellent brew."

"Poured a reddish-copper color, clear and bright with a decent frothy 2 finger cap wich laced the glass. Modest carbonation.
Aroma of Caramel, some sweetness, almonds, warrior hops (on long boil leave a light "soapy" smell)
Hearty body, good malt spine, silky texture, mellow character
Rich caramel malts in the front side, some nut and cocoa tones finishes wet and bittering with piney-citrus tastes.
Very well put together red ale, I like it and I'm not all that partial to ales.
