Oregon Trail Bourbon Porter is a beer as big as the West. Masterfully brewed in the true pioneer spirit. This robust porter is aged in Kentucky oak bourbon barrels. The result is a deep mahogany elixir, rich with oaky smoothness, bold boubonesque aroma, with hints of fruit and vanilla. Good at either end of the trail

"Pours with a dark brown body topped by a medium thick, tan head wtih some lacing. It’s slightly sweet with lots of vanilla and bourbon notes, as well as a touch of malt. Medium to bull bodied, smooth and a touch warming."

"This porter poured a medium brown color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is malty, caramel and sweet with lots of bourbon. A medium bodied porter. Malts are chocolate and coffee, touch of vanilla and caramel. Nice balance between the malts and the bourbon barrel, but perhaps a bit to much bourbon at the finish. Very smooth and clean. Makes a great sipping beer. Hides the alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet"

"Thanks to batkins for this brew
this pours a murky brown color with a small head. The aroma is bourbon, vanilla, oak and some more bourbon. The flavor has lots of, surprise, bourbon and vanilla. it's surprisingly light bodied with a little bite on the finish. Pretty tasty"
