""hop spicy" is a good description, but floral is not. for an average beer maybe, but not for an ipa. not bad, but underwhelming. not a good malt backbone for the bittering hops."

"NORTH COAST IPA S5L2F2T4O9: On tap at the Bocktown. Looks like a pale lager except for the head. Does have a hoppy aroma but it is very meek compared to most IPA. Taste is more soft than most IPA, probably should be rated as an APA. My palate says it does have a bitterness that builds thru the session but it never goes over the top. Not on style, probably IPA is the wrong style for this. Not bad, even for a lager lover which means if you prefer IPA you probably will not find it offensive enough. Finish is not as intense or las lasting compared to other IPA. One of the better IPA IMHO. On par with Founder, 2 hearted and weinhards. Not quite as good as Snapperhead Butternuts. "

"Kind of a disappointment compared to the last few IPAs I've had. Although there is a nice floral/fruity hop aroma, the problem I had was with the taste. Seems to be missing a good hop bitterness--I detected a bit of alcohol and spiciness in the aftertaste. Not impressed."

"Poured a brightly coloured orange body with a fairly large white head. Aroma initially is piney, with quite a bit of citrus tones. Taste is well carbonated, lively and effervescent. Sharp hop punches in the mouth, which are strong but balanced."

"Took just a quick glance at some of the other reviews and I'm a little surprised. Pours a hazy orange color and topped with a thick off-white head that produced tons of lacing on the glass. Mild fruity hop aroma with malt sneaking through as it warms. While this might not blow the average hophead away with flavor it is very smooth with malt and then a gradual grapefruit hop bite. It doesn't bite right away with hops, more of a long-lasting smooth hoppy flavor. This is solid."
