Warm fermented lager ... common to the San Francisco area at the turn of the century ... more fruity and aggressively hopped than most American lagers.

"This is a full amber with a head that sticks to the glass. At first, I thought there was something odd in the aroma. The longer I drank the beer the more I realized that it was just the American grapefruit hops this beer is laced with. I’m not used to that hop profile in a lager and often American hops clash with the lager flavors, but this worked. This is an interesting lager that’s hopped like an average APA."
