A beer (Pils) with character and color. A gold-blond, full bodied and slightly tart beer with an alcohol content of 4,8% and 11 Degrees Plato. Once a beer lover stated that the Mönchspils is a beer in which you can still taste the traditional monastery brewing art.

"500 ml bottle. Golden colour, low head. Interesting malty aroma with hints of hayloft and sheepshed - very nice. An unusual pils! Flavour is distinctly malty with just enough hoppiness to call it a pils. Good beer!"
