"Bottled, fresh from the brewery. A nice orange-gold colored lager with moderate carbonation and a good rocky head that lingers as lace. Smells of musty rye under floral hop tones. Sturdy, medium bodied, starts smooth with a good balance of tangy hops (New Zealand?) pitted against an ample malty redolence which does turn very "biscuity towards the end" ....and the finish is earthy-buscuity and tangy from the hops. A nicely put together lager. Very much in the vien of old style Canadian lagers before corn and mega brewers destroyed Canadian lager.
