Entered in a pretentious "Cask day" competition as a judas goat to confound the taste buds of some fairly pompous beer judges. Called a "bitter" but brewed as a steam beer in a small vessel, this little brew did it's job in completely fooling the tastebuds of the beer "aficionados"

"Sampled from a 10 liter draft caddy at the brewery. The brewer let me in on the secret of this beer and I ain’t tellin’ except to say that he was going for the Steelback experience....and he certainly acheived it with this lagerale.

I had a laugh seeing this getting lower scores than some Steelback beer and higher than some Neustadt beers...ratings are certainly a funny thing . There are a lot of raters who gave this a thumbs up with egg on their face.
