"500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Bottle conditioned, ABV is 4.2%. Brewed with rye, and Boadicea as single hop variety. Deep brown coloured beer, low off-white head. Nice and perfumed aroma of butterscotch, treacle, red fruits (esp. cranberries) and mild Christmas spices. The mouthfeel is quite thin for a Christmas ale. The flavour is fairly fruity with moderate hops and Christmas spices in the finish. Okay beer, but for Christmas I want something with a fuller mouthfeel than this one. "
