An India Pale Ale, a direct descendant of the strong and hoppy ales brewed in England and exported to India. In order to preserve the ales on the long sea voyage to that enchanting sub-continent, it had to be brewed to considerable strength and with ample hoppiness. It is with great pride that we offer our Paddywhack India Pale Ale.

"Light honey brown to slight burnt orange, massive tan cap with great retention, seems to be a slight haze within the body. Sticky spotty lacing is very nice to see completing the look of the decent looking brew. Sweet candy like hops, and I’m smelling a lemon lime like aroma, nope scratch that its lemon ice tea that’s the aroma I’m picking up lemon ice tea, there is a good maltiness to the sent but lemon ice tea is at the front and most noticeable. Flavor is crisp and lemony with a massive amount of malt and has a brutally bitter finish. No shortage of hops in this IPA, it strange most IPA’s have that grapefruit hop flavor this one differs with a lemon one. Surprisingly good brew, this IPA delivers a massive hop bitterness but is still very easy drinking. "

"first off, i poured this in the wrong glass. boo-urns. oh well. so, no review on head or lacing really. smell is good. fresh. but other than that, i couldn't really pick out too much. quite subdued. the hops taste is great. not alot, but quite enjoyed. little bit of aftertaste there. i'd consume more."

"Same label, but now with 'Certified Organic' notation and 'British Columbia Certified Organic' Green Checkmark.
Clear, coppery, orange color in the glass. Starts with a thick and foamy head, slowly but steadily fades to a this floating cap of foam. Thin, stringy lacing left down the side of the glass.
Smells are quite strong citrus, but not enough to overpower the bready malts. Well balanced flavor of malt with the citrus and pine from the hops. Slightly dry bitter finish. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, with good carbonation. Good drinkability, no one element is over powering. Maybe not as strong as some other IPAs and their huge hoppiness). Overall, enjoyed this well made beer.

"Crystal clear amber brew with an ok ammount of off-white head and ample carbonation. Awsome retention right down to the bottom of the glass and left excellent sticky lacing everywhere. Nice fresh smelling hops with the expected grapefruit aroma - also had hints of orange, light spice and subdued malts that blended in well. There was an interesting hop flavour that was a little different than expected but well within the enjoyable range. Well balanced blend of hops and a light roasted malt. Light to medium bodied, fairly smooth mouthfeel but needed a bit more carbonation. The yeast seemed to linger a bit along with a short mild bitter aftertaste. I probally should've drank this when it was colder, not after it sat on my table for 45 minuites! Very drinkable."

"A strange IPA, lighter in colour than I'd expected, and with a decent head. Aroma did not suggest the extra hops I'd anticipated. Taste was acceptable. but a bit light. This was more like a pale ale than an IPA. That said, a refreshing drink."
