"Had never heard of this brewery before I saw a six pack of this in Salem Comes in a 12 oz brown bottle with a olde time picture of Mr Weed, i presume ,on the label. In appearance this a quite dark "amber" ale, very deep amber almost brown, small yet appealing tan head, gorgeous lace left down the glass. Aroma is very malty, sweet toffeeish malt. Mmm very sweet malty beverage , with a small hop "kick" right at the end, which prevents the beerr becoming cloying. I like it ,though I am a fan of sweet malty beers, a hop head might take a different view. The mouthfeel is excellent, quite thick for the style, low carbonation makes this easy to go down. Nice beer , very sweet but also very drinkable for me.
