"Served in the Imperial pint glass at Kell’s Pub in Portland. What I can make out in the dimlight, thisnis a nice darkbrown almost mahogany coloured ale with a smallish creamy tan head. I could not make out much aroma, just some maltiness , I think It was sderved too cold, or maybe the Lebanese food I ate earlier interfered. This was a very enjoyable porter thout a little unusual in the flavour , it has all the coffee/ dark chocolate flavours expected but also a rather sharp fruity undertaste, which was good, also you can get a little hop bite near the end of the mouthful. Very nice and quite smooth on the palate. A nice drinkable beer ( had 3 pints in quick order).
