"Quite suprised at how tasty this beer turned out to be. For some reason I’ve always passed it by on the beer shelf while shopping, so this time it’s time was now so we got to drinking it after Thanksgiving dinner.
The beer pours out a slightly hazy, copper/red color, small bubbles with a two-finger creamy white head. The aroma was sweet, with some toasted bread, a touch of caramel and some fruit touches. The flavor was just a notch below in terms of enjoyment. Sweet malts dominate the flavor, with a bit of toasted grain quality to it. No hop quality that I could tell, but that didn’t really matter. The beer was clean, and smooth with a sweetness that had enough character to enjoy the whole 22oz bottle. "

"this one fits the style to a tee, thiner and dry on the palate. malty, roasted nuts in the forefront with a dry finish. i like stronger beers, but this one is good!"

"I usually like my Reds with a hoppy touch to them; this had quite the malty taste and aroma going on, but was still worth the effort. Great red color and nice caramel malt aroma. Was expecting, or maybe hoping for, more hop flavor but had a delicious malty taste; its all about malt here, but a good malty red."

"Red gold color, medium head. Slightly hopped, mildly roasted malts. Light character to the hops. Nice flavor. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is sweet and malty, no bitterness. Nice beer, very drinkable on a warm summer day."
