"Handpulled under the pump clip label "George Inn Ale" at the historic pub in Southwick, 2/2/08. Very much my idea of the prototypic English bitter: clear copper color, thin bubbly off-white head, reserved but distictive nose of malt and fruit, smooth but thin mouthfeel and good, solid lightly-roasted malts and dry hop bitterness. Nothing too remarkable or memorable, but it sure went great with my fish, chips and mushy peas."
