Using only four ingredients, this is a good, smooth lager with a malty taste. Only brewed for the michelob sampler pack.

"This was my least favorite out of the craft beer sampler case. First the aroma was like an old pilsner with metallic hints. Unfortunely the taste was pretty similar to the aroma. Overall this wasnt a good beer and i wont purchase it again."

"Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: The head is has a slightly off white color and it builds up thick and foamy. It slowly fades down to a wispy thin layer that just hangs on until the end. There is very little lacing to speak of. The body has a light golden amber color with very good clarity.
Smell: Its aroma is light and has a sweet grainy character with a very mild hop presence.
Taste/Mouth feel: The flavor has a simple light grain and mild sweetness with a good balance of earthy and floaral hops. The texture is smooth and slightly slick with mild carbonation. Its body is about medium.
Notes: Overall I feel that it is a rather boring Marzen.

"Just tasted their Pale ale, poured it out and on to the Marzen ,which is a bit better but still is poor.
Aroma was promising, just about right for the style, lots of sweet malts scents and maybe a touch of pepper. Very pale copper colored ( a bit too pale) and transparent with a poor head that doesn't last and doesn't lace. Mouth is OK, a bit thin but not too bad. Flavor has the same problems as the Pale, decent malt body but lots of off flavors as well, again metalic and medicine. I think its adjuncts, or some cheap method of bittering. Why are they making this crap? what is the point? They are just going to teach people to drink other beers!"

"Clear copper color with brown highlights. A collapsing, small head with little lacing. Faint noble hops and sweet bread malt aromas. Light to medium bodied with a crisp mild hop bite. Drinks with great ease. Caramel and doughy with some hop flavors, the taste is thin and dull. This Marzen lacks depth, decent drink but poor to it's style."
