Traditional British Imperial Stouts were made stronger and hoppier to last during the export to the Baltic States and Russia. Ours is full bodied and jet black with hints of chocolate, coffee, and oak aging

"Draft at the Glen Mills location. The pour was dark brown-black, thin initial head, thinning to nothing, spotty lacing on the way down. The aroma was milky chocolate, light piney resinous notes. The flavor was a milky (almost slightly chalky) very lightly roasted chocolate, some currant type berry flavor underneath it all, finishing with a bit of hop zing, but not all that highly hopped, lingering bitternesss and piney notes. Light on the flavor and mouthfeel, this thing wanted to be so much bigger. Mouthfeel a little too soft as well."
