"Bottle from SL, pour was clear light amber, lots of carbonation on display, but not a very big head. Aroma was shockingly apricots, only light wheaty notes. The flavor followed the aroma, finishing with a bit too much sweetness, not balanced out quite dry enough by the wheat or carbonation. A decent drinker, but more of a finale treat than a summer thirst quenching light fruit wheat beer."

"This is a very good beer. Not sure I'd call it a lambic, but that's another story. This beer pours an orange-gold colour with a strong fruity aroma - possibly apricots ;) The brew swirls around in my mouth with some carbonation, and the flavour has a nice hop/apricot balance.

"341ml bottle
5.0% ABV
I tried this beer at Smokeless Joe's in Toronto on June 25, 2007. Wow! What a beer! (and it's an ale - maybe my ale has come!) This was a beautiful orangy colour, not translucent at all. The aroma was very much apricot with some grassy hints. The mouthfeel was crisp with nice carbonation. The flavour was malty with hints of apricot. I love this beer!"

"341ml brown bottle with same green and orange label as in the picture. Picked it up the first time I saw this one in Calgary stores. A bit pricey at $12.50CAN/6 pack of bottles (inc. tax and deposit)
Pours out a dark golden orangish color, thick creamy white head, leaves some nice lacing. Lots of fruity aromas, obviously there is apricot, but also peaches, oranges, melon. Just enough grain and grass to keep it from being to one dimensional. The flavour is full of sweet apricots, but also is well balanced by the wheat beer base. Full fruity finish with just enough bitter tartness that keep it from being too sweet and sugary. Full bodied, keeps you drinking slowly and enjoying each sip. Very well done, another winner from St. Ambroise/McAuslan. Right on par with Alleykat Aprikat."

"Arriving with a good-sized foamy white head which gave way to some decent lacing, a lovely, clear medium-copper colour was the other half of the opening act for this extraordinarily interesting and delightful beer. What can I say about the aroma - apricots! Marvelous, I just loved jamming my normally less-than-sensitive snout into the glass just to inhale these heavenly fumes. Taste was also of apricot, and with just the proper sweetness, I could go for a lot of these. Mouthfeel and aftertaste were as they should be."
