September, October, November, Fest Ale. Earthy, rich and steeped in Autumn's magic: it's an ale of change. This potent infusion is haunted by memories of summer and the first frost on abandoned fields.
Jinx prepares the bones for snow. It's strong, medium bodied ale, the color of maple's golden leaves in the seasons fading sun. It's finished with a touch of peat-soaked whiskey malt to hint of bonfires lit to celebrate past and and future harvests.

"Aroma is grainy with some malty sweetness and offers some very light smokey overtone as well as some slight caramel. Appearance is a rich, burgundy-reddish in color when held to the light with great clarity with a medium-sized head on top that is off-white in color and leaves nice, creamy lacing on the glass. Mouthfeel is dry-like with some good complexity as well as smokey balance with a palate that is creamy and rather light and very good. Flavor is of smoked malt and some sweetness with an aftertaste that offers some slight chocolate caramel overtone with a finish that is a bit thin but wet-like and thirst-quenching. Overall, great brew here for sure and I am quite surprised I must say so, recommended..."

"Decent brew here, caught somewhere between a Brown Ale and an American Strong Ale. Mildly roasted coffee nose with some woody malt and a nice semi-sweetness. Medium brown pour with a creamy 3/4" light brown head and minimal lacing. Malty body with a creamy yet fizzy carbonated mouth feel. Flavor is big on the malts with hints of toasted bread, peaty-woody malt, a touch of smoke along with some minor coffee and chocolate tastes. All of these flavors are rather tame, but they meld together well. All around this is a nice mildly strong brown ale, I liked the couple I sampled."

"Beer pours chestnut brown with red highlight, nice head but no lacing. Aroma of malts and nuts. Flavor was lightly smokey with caramel malts and a nuttiness and roastiness remiscient of a brown ale. Sort of like it can't make up its mind if it wants to be a brown ale or a scottish ale. Not a bad little beer."

"Amberish brown colour, with minor beige head. Aroma is leather, sweet caramellish malts and toffe. Even shows slight alcoholic hints. Flavour is roasted malts, hops, caramel and toffee. Quite dry in the aftertaste. Where’s the smoke?"

"Basically a strong ale...i taste some american and scottish character. Only a slight smokiness in a pale aroma. The flavor begins with dark and sweet toffee... Toasty, some earthy complexities, with notes of peat, lumber, raisins; tastes of autumn, boston baked beans. Mouthfeel got a bit flat...slight smoke flavor, somewhat burnt and rusty aftertaste wasn't all together. Overall, this was good enough, a respectable effort, flavorful and i enjoyed it."
