"Poured a golden color with an unimpressive head for a pilsner. The lacing was near nil. So far pretty miserable. However, the aroma was strong honey, grainly, some light grass. The flavor was a rather malty little sucker, honey, grainy, even a littlle doughy in the aftertaste. The finish was firmly bitter, but not really that grassy for a pilsner. Sweet and bitter at the same time, decent level of balance, alcohol hiding at an elevated 5.8%. A nice brew, although not really "pretty" looking initially (slightly more color than Bud)."
