"Golden colour, sudsy white head. Slight aroma, a bit grassy. Mouthfeel has a slight bite to it, crisp but otherwise weak. The taste is an even combination of light malts and hops. Seemed a bit more hoppy than other beers of this style, but the flavours tend to dart in quickly and then retreat before you get a chance to really evaluate them. Overall its pretty typical of European lager."

"Pale gold, head fading quickly and no lacing visible...Fresh cereal aroma coming with a hoppy nose, lively carbonation easy to drink, refreshing...You could find a sweet malt flavor coming along great bitterness...Just above average, and at cheap price why not!"

"This review can be applied to more than one beer. Its like that old Frank Zappa quote that to be a country you need an airline and a beer. Pale/Swil seems to be that beer. They are all relatively similar, pale in colour, weak in aroma, transparent yellow..."average beer" on all accounts. Ive found few exceptions to this in my beer tour round the world. But there is a time and a place for these beers: if you are in its country, eating the food of its people, and feeling adventurous and cultural. Far from anything great, but still can be enjoyed in the right place, at the right time."

"An average "iron curtain" lager; not terrible but not especially good either. This one poured a clear gold colour with a small white head, and no carbonation of note. The aroma seemed to balance hops and malt. Taste was acceptable but not noteworthy, being that of just a basic lager."

"One of the 10 bland baltic lagers from the LCBO. This one is a pale straw, fizzy, with a fast vanishing smallish cap. Aroma is sweet and musty with very light spice smells. Fizzy vegital-grainy taste with more hop pronouncement than some of the other baltic lagers..fizzy, watery mouth feel, quick flash of malt...quick finish...wow so the commies can brew "bud"..yaaaa
