"Pours a bronze-amber color with a thin off-white head which had some staying power. The aroma is citrusy, floral, and slightly malty but rather subtle and fresh. The flavor consists of sweet malt, some tropical fruit, and just enough of a hop presence to keep this interesting. It finishes with a roasty character. Mouthfeel is a shade thin. Not all that complex but neither is the style and really this is pretty solid. I've only had a few beers from Lost Coast so far but they've all been solid as well. Good session beer here. "

"I really enjoyed this beer. Unlike some ambers I have tried, this one has a decent hop presence to give it a pleasant citrusy, piney aroma but with a balanced malt/hop taste. Goes down fairly smooth with a bitter finish. Would have this again."

"Suprisingly, this is a pretty good attempt at a really bland style. Ambers and browns have never been a favorite style of mine. This beer has enough hop character and malts to make you notice. Aroma is light pine, caramel, and roasted malts. Appearance is dark amber in color, a nice white head. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, medium bodied. Flavor is pine, light spices, with enough malt sweetness to keep everything in balance. If you are looking for a drinkable amber ale with some character, you can't go wrong with this one."

"Poured amber with small head and good lacing, surprising with the smalle head. Aroma was of caramel malts and some hops. Flavor was much the same the aftertaste was a little off for me something sour maybe not sure didn't like the aftertaste lets put it that way."

"Poured an amber color (surprise) with a nice thin head that had great retention, pretty nice lacing. The aroma was caramel malts and some woody hops. The fllavor followed suit, although the caramel was a tad sour (diacetyl mixed in there?) with a tea bag sweetness that outlingered the hops. A diverse amber, sour, sweet and bitter all at once. Mouthfeel was moderately bodied and carbonated, a little sticky."
