A dark brown coloured beer with reddish tints, topped with a thick milky coffee coloured head. A strong malty aroma, with a warming nuttiness. The taste is smooth, rich and malty, then a dry, nutty flavour comes through.

"Pours out in a clear nut brown colour with a rich lively tan foam. Quite tart and dusty aroma of dried cherries, nuts and cocoa. Medium-bodied with notes of nut-shells, rat berries and toasted malts. Malty and slightly acidic finish of cocoa, nuts, figs and red berries. "
