A tasty black beer brewed with seven different specialty malts that give it a nice toasted and caramel flavor without the burnt notes found in some dark beers. Hopping is light so as not to overwhelm the malt flavors. German Perle and Hersbrucker hop varieties contribute 14 BU's to the beer, and an authentic German lager yeast was used for fermentation. The ABV is 4.8%.

"Nice, black color with off-white head. Very smooth flavor with hardly any bitterness. Flavor borders on a stout. It does have a heavy sweet aftertaste, but it's still an enjoyable beer. "
