Same Beer as the Brandy Barrel, but aged in a grundy then dry hopped and aged for 8 months until it was racked to a Bourbon barrel then aged 10 months so far in this wood.

"Thanks to tever for this one.
It ours pretty flat and with a murky brown color. The vanilla characteristics of the bourbon really stands out and this is smooth. "

"NorCal tasting Jan 07 - Finally got the chance to rate this beer out of the bottle, as I'd sampled it a few times while aging. An aroma of sweet malts, bourbon, vanilla and toffee. Appearance was a nice brown color, beige head, minimal in size. Mouthfeel was medium bodied, slightly sticky. Flavors were more bourbon, sweet malts, some hops present (just barely) and toffee. Another excellent beer by Drakes!"
