A classic American Pale Ale, Mirror Pond Pale Ale uses generous quantities of Cascade hops, offering a lush foral aroma with a balanced malt body.

"Bottled:
Pours and hazed orange amber with a 1 finger sticky cap...laces well....modestly carbonated.
Nose is standard for Pacific NW Pales; Grapefruity, woody, caramel malts.
Nice slick mouth feel, mellow amalgam of the grapefruit-wood-bittering-sweet malts of the Pac NW APA..nicely executed...mellow and non aggressive with full flavor and satisfying character.
A standard for the style

"It's nice to see this beer carried in convenience stores in my area. Other than Sierra Nevada's pale ale and Redhook's ESB/IPA brews, I'm usually stuck with the typical commercial lagers when I'm not able to go out to good beer shop. This ale is nice and smooth when it's really cold, but its quality clearly stands out as it warms down. While most lagers and ales start to taste skunkier or more bitter, this one stays smooth even as it turns to swill (I define swill as warmed-up beer, or the last 1/4 of a bottle). Good beer for any get-together, as it's easy to make any casual beer drinker go for it. If you drink Bud, Corona, Coors, Steinlager, or any of the other lagers you can find in a typical supermaket or convenience store, this is a great entry into the more snobby beers.
Comparing this to other microbrews, it's top-class. I consider Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale the defacto micro-ale, and this one clearly meets and/or exceeds it, depending on your tastebuds at the time. This will go well with any savory/spicy meal, with gravies and/or heavy spices. Pasta dishes are usually mild, so I would rather have a full-bodied dark beer on hand, but you can't go wrong stocking up your fridge with Mirror Pond.
It's a crisp, clean ale with a nice, bitter aftertaste that is very tolerable for people who don't normally like bitters. Again, this is a great trainer or starter beer if anyone's curious about the more pricey, premium brews on the market, and for the seasoned beer snob, this is a great one to have when you have to be at a party with your everyday social drinkers."

"Decided to try this one at a local bar during happy hour and it didn't disappoint. Nice malty aroma to it. Typical pale ale appearance and mouthfeel...The flavor was full and bodied. I would drink it again..."

"Had this at today's Super Bowl party and it was the clear favorite of the 4 varieties we had. Drank for the bottle so no comment on color or pour, but the taste was smooth, with a lot of body. No unpleasant bitterness. Very good beer!"

"Pours a coppery color. Nice head with thin lace. Citrus/fruity, floral hop aroma. Crisp citrus hoppy bitterness with a liht malt flavor. Medium/light mouthfeel."
