"Cork pretty much flew out of the bottle. Pours a copper colored beer with a huge whipped cream dollop on top. Nose is sharp, very tart and acidic.First pour reveals heavy sediment. First sip is full of sour fruit a little musty earthiness also. Every sip is revealing new flavors. The balance between sweet and sour is a huge battle on the tongue. This is an amazing beer that has to be tried to understand what all is going on. Flavors are bouncing all over my mouth and just as you start to pin one down something else jumps to the front. Simply Amazing."

"Reddish brown color. Very large foamy head. Aroma is sour cherries, must and yeast. The cork came out with a small popping sound and without explosion. A medium bodied Flemish Sour Ale. Amazing carbonation, it just hangs around forever and ever. Fruitiness is full and complex; there are tastes of cherries, oranges, apples and cranberries. Moderate yeastiness. Woody and musty with the very distinctive sour and tart taste of a Flemish Sour Red. The tartness, sourness and vinous qualities are not as strong as in Rodenbach or the Duchess and allow the complex fruitiness to shine. An AMAZING beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is sweet and dry. Aftertaste is slightly tart."

"The cork is jumping out without much help and the beer is foaming, foaming, ... during about 10 minutes ! Dark red-amber colour with a giant foamy head, strong complex nose of vinegar, noble moisture, green apple, vinous, alcohol; sweet and full-bodied, very strong bitterness, long bitter, fruity and alcohol finish - deeply impressive and very pleasant !"

"Copper color with the most amazing head. Aroma of sour cherries and oak. Taste was a sour mix of cherries, lemons and apples, lightly sweet maltiness and yeast. All balanced perfectly leaving the sourness you want in this bottle of pure nectar."
