"Very smooth and drinkable considering the type of beer this is and the alcohol content. Pours a nice golden color with a medium head. Medium to thin in the mouth with a smooth taste of banana with a little spice that I was unable to place. Nice."

"I have seent his for many years but the price has kept me away. Finally had tried this and I feel worth the price for sure. Very amber and nice head. Very smooth and almost a blanced sweetness that i could compare to. I was and will have this style again as I thought that for all those years I could have tried this and would have been very happy."

"This is probably my favorite of the three Chimay ales available. A tightly crafted Tripel that has enough character to stand out from the typical mold. Not my favorite of the style, but grand nonetheless. Pours a very hazy golden-orange and has a lasting quarter inch thick white head and very nice lacing. Fragrant with sweet malts and a flowery bouquet coupled with pepper and yeast spiciness. Lemon and orange counter the spice nicely. Bountiful on the palate with a great peppery bitterness, I enjoyed the noble hop profile. Biscuits and citrus (mostly lemon) countered by that big noble hop push. My last beer of 2009."

"WOW! I like the spiciness of my tripples, and this delivers. Drinking it with Round Table pizza (the meat pizza). Aroma is quite robust. Hoppy and spicy, cinnamon and sour citrus. Mouthfeel it sharp and hoppy with more cinnamon and sour citrius. This beer drinks well on the cool side, opening up nicely as it warms. Of course you need to enjoy it a Chimay glass. Finish is warm and surprisingly clean. I am glad I have another two of these in the fridge, might pop another when this one finishes. "
