"pours a dark tan with a good amount of head, lacing is impressive too! ....... sweet smell of fruits and sugar ...... wonderfully tingly on the tongue..... The flavours are the real surprise! sweet, some slight sourness: wonderfully delicious with fruit, tea, and sugar flavours...
This was a big surprise from De Troch, I loved it!! "

"This lambic Faro pours an orange gold color from a 330ml bottle. Note this bottle had a best before 1997 on it so this sample may be a little old. Small sized white head. Aroma is apples and peaches, Very sweet. A medium bodied beer. Malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of apple flavors, not a lot of carbonation. A little funky and a touch tart, but mostly sweet. Lots of grape, apple and peach flavors. Still very pleasant tasting, especially for a beer that was nearly 10 years past its prime and stored in questionable conditions. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet. "

"from notes from days gone by
I guess that this is the beer for the lambic lover who doesn't want something sour. The addition of sugar gives this brew a nice flavor. This is a simple, easy drinking beer."
