"Tasted at Noogfest 4.0 (2008). This barleywine pours a orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel malts and sweet. A medium bodied Barley Wine. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy and floral. Nice balance.
Touch of alcohol oiliness. Sweet finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

"Fizzed out of the bottle into a slightly hazy redish-amber body with a tan head that bubbled and foamed itself to oblivion. Deep, dark, muted nose of roasted caramel and spiced plums. Soft and satiny palate with just a spark of bitter-sweetness on the tongue. Very mellow blend of flavors; understated earthy malt, dark fruit and cherries with some citrus notes. Lightly sweet, but turns pleasantly bitter in a real hurry. Long, smooth and warm rum-raisin finish. Nicely done. MUSIC: All the Wine by The National

"Poured a hazy red color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of dried fruits, caramel malts, light spices, and some alcohol as well. Taste of light malts, dry bitter grapefruit, light citrus, with cherries, nuts, cinnamon, and light alcohol in the finish. Thanks EDA!"
