"This 8% malt liquor pours a golden colour with a nice creamy white head. Carbonation is pretty active, retention is decent and lacing is full creamy all around. The nose is not offensive, with some corn and a bit of alcohol. Lots of corn is present too in the taste. Good bitterness at the start with a slight burn and a mild aftertaste that fades away fast enough. After a glass or so, some sweetness shows up. Gets the job done... and I can finish this one (compared to their 10% version - drainpour)."

"people drink beer for 1 of two reasons. 1, to enjoy a beverage that can be made a variety of waysthat is meant to be savoured, and then there is strong malt liquor type, like olde english and colt 45, that is meant to be drunk to get wasted on. this is the latter. not as a tart as malt liquor, reminds more of crest, or even labbat max ice. not bad, guiven that criteria."
