Although another brewery has the word "steam" trademarked, many American brewers are making what traditionally was called "steam" beer in the Bay area of California.

"Clear reddish brown body. Mostly clean, malty aroma. There’s a bit of fruit, but not much. This is an easy drinker. Fuller bodied than the typical lager, but not very exciting either."
