"Dark leatherized ruby. A nice head fades slowly but completely. Just looking at it, I probably would have guessed a brown. The aroma and flavor wouldn't have dissuaded me either. Warm malts, a slight hop bite and a tad tart. The flavor is come cocoa, caramel, slightly metallic hops. Good beer, but the aftertaste drives down the overall quality."
