Inspired by the original East India Pale Ales brewed in England in the early 1800's for the troops in India. Eventually these beers became known as IPA's. Our East India Pale Ale is a deep golden beer brewed from British malt and a blend of hops featuring the choice East Kent Golding variety. It is traditionally dry hopped for a bright aroma of hops, lemongrass, pine and citrus fruit, and hass a robust bitterness, a warming malt palate and a clean hoppy finish.

"Aroma some pine, and floral notes. Apperance was a light copper color, thin head left decent lace. Flavor is kinda malty for an IPA but its o.k., hints of pine. Mouthfeel was a little stickey, but it had a clean finish. Overall its a decent beer, but nothing to rush out and get. "

"Pours a cloudy honey-golden, barely translucent, with a thick, cream-white head - very appetizing. Aroma is strongly hoppy with an evergreen hint. Flavor is very hoppy, rather but not fiercely bitter, with a whisper of fruit or perhaps spice, quite smooth."

"This beer poured with a light copper color topped off by a medium sized white head that left a small amount of lace down the sides of the glass. The aroma was pretty tamed with some citrus and piney hops with a sweet malty tone noticeable as well. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, fairly drinkable. The flavor was again some hoppy pine and grapefruit with a touch of caramel sweetnees balancing the beer out."

"Hues of gold and orange with a white head that left a little bit of lace.
The aroma is very herbal and earthy. A pleasant dose of biscuits and toast. Some citrus rind as well.
The malt flavor starts off as biscuits, then quickly puches you with bitterness and that lasts well after the swallow.
The palate is sort of thin, and there’s a ton of carbonation. Sort of dry finish.
A fine beer, but not a fave.

"Not my favorite of the Brooklyn line, but still a good one. Poured a golden amber color. Hoppiness present in the aroma and flavor along with a sweet malt back up. I only recently became an IPA fan after trying Dogfish Head 60, but nothing else has presented the hoppy bite that I'm looking for."
