"A golden amber colored beer. Not much to the head. What creamy textured whiteness there is disappears quickly. I don’t see any lacing. Sweet corn in the nose and the taste. Not offensively so. The body is medium and smooth on the palate. An okay beer. I’ll finish it.

"Completely lacking in any discernable character - wholly average. Pours a medium amber with a medium head. Very thin in the mouth without any complex combination of aromas and flavors. Slight hint of hops and a little citrus."

"Hard to find anything wrong with this beer, but at the same time I'm searching for something great that stands out.....and can't find much. It's a little better than average, but since there are SOOO many great beers out there I pretty much give it an across the board average rating. Slightly better than average appearance, which has a very light orange/clear golden color. A thin, lighter beer with hints of wheat, lime, and other citrus flavor. Been there, done that, but will probably pass next time and try something new."

"Sampled on 4/19/2009. This wheat ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is wheat, some spices and a touch of lime. A medium bodied wheat beer. The malts are wheat and cereal. The hops are earthy. A touch of kiffier lime flavor. Good carbonation. Nice balance. A touch thin and watery, but drinkable. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter"

"Poured into a pint glass from a 12 oz. bottle with the freshness date of 21 June 2009. So far, so good.
The pour is a clear copper with plenty of rising bubbles. A finger's white head is gone quickly and only leaves some lacing.
The nose is of citrus, lime and wheat. Neither is overpowering. The same isn't true in the taste, where the lime definitely stands out. A very sour aftertaste is present. Some metallic taste is also there.
The mouthfeel is light and watery. Drinkability is about average; the lime is just too overpowering for my tastes.
While I can say I've had worse, I prefer their winter offering to this one. If they retool this with less lime next year, I'll give it a try. Otherwise, no thanks."
