This full bodied abbey ale is brewed with roasted malts and a hint of Dark Belgian sugar for a perfectly balanced taste.

"This was really just an average brew. Not bad and not great. But thats what is so perfect with the blue moon's series of beer. They are always the cheapest in the aisle and they are consistently good. This one was what I would call average ...but nice beer at a good price. (had this the same day as sam adams winter ale and like it much much more)"

"Poured a dark brown with an offwhite head, left virtually no lace. Aroma was caramel, and a bit spiced. Flavor was sweet, with notes of caramel and brown sugar. Overall I liked this beer; pretty comforting and relaxing."

"This beer poured with a dark copper colored body topped off by a small off white head that went down qucikly leaving very little lace. The aroma is sweet with some caramel and spicy tones. The mouthfeel was meidum bodied. Flavor was mostly sweet caramel malt with some dark fruit, yeast and spices."

"well as far as aroma its slightly duller than the original blue moon and the color when pouredis dark and attractive with a creamy head and some lacing the flavor is a dissapointment though just bland and almost flat i think not much of a seasonal but not to bad overall"

"Pours out a light brown color with a slightly reddish hue and a pretty decent head as well. While taste is not anything amazing, it is still a pleasant beer. Lots of malt and a slightly sweet flavor jump out at first but not much else thereafter. "
