"Dark brown color. Medium head. Aroma is malty. A medium bodied strong ale. Malts are nutty, fruity and slightly sweet. Hops are mildly spicy. Very smooth. Bottle aging has appeared to improve this beer greatly. There is a nice complexity going on here as well. Itís very smooth, and has a nice sweet molasses, chocolate malty flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet."

"Poured a reddish amber color with a thin, off white head. Aroma of butterscotch, cherry, strawberries, grapes, and smoke. Taste started sweet, grapes being dominant, light alcohol, and a smokey finish. Interesting, and a nice change."
