"July 2003. I just found notes on this beer wedged in the depths of my old backpack. Can't make out much but the numbers and a few words...Amber...small head, nice lace...sweet with dried apricot and dirt...a strange beer. I have to interpolate numbers from the chicken scratch and memory. It looks like I liked this beer enough to get pretty hammered on it and try to write notes. Since I'll likely never have it again, I'm rating it now."

"Reddish brown color. Small white head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied amber ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are spicy and slightly bitter. For an amber itís a little sweeter and a little drier than the average. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is bitter."
