Our unique blend of roasted barley, chocolate, and black patent malts produces a nice medium bodied stout. Accented with notes of Fuggle and East Kent Golding hops.

"08.03.05 Tap at brewpub. Deep ruby brown/black under a creamy tan head; spotty lace. Aroma is grainy, very roasty, no sweetness, acetic hints, lactic. Palate thin and dry. Some dried dark fruits, stark roasted malts. Again, not sweet. Lots of butter, plus acidic, plus tingly...it reminds me of rancid butter. Yum. This brewpub needs to take more pride in the condition of their beer."

"Bethlehem Brew Works Steelworkers Oatmeal Stout poured a dark black colored body with a medium tan head that left some lacing. The taste was smooth, dry, with notes of coffee and chocolate. Pretty standard oatmeal stout. "

"Poured a dark brown / reddish color with a small, tan, creamy head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of butter, chocolate, and roasty malts. Tasete of chocolate, roasted malts, cherries, and other dried fruits. Not bad, though it seems the dirty lines didn’t let me experience this as it should have been."

"Regular old oatmeal stout, which I always enjoy. However, nothing stood out on this one, which was the second to last selection on my sampler. Dark color and burnt aroma and taste were on par. (5.3% ABV)"
