"Excellent stout. Dark, rich color with a coffee aroma. Smooth feel to it with a sweet, coffee flavor. Sweet aftertaste, but it is not overpowering. My favorite beer at Bent River."

"This was from a hand bottled version. Poured a very dark, almost black body with a pretty ruby showing when held to light. The aroma is rich roasted coffee. There is also some chocolate and peanuts. The taste has roasted peanuts, coffee and a little bit of caramel. Finishes rather sweet. "
