"Pours a semi hazey dull orange colour with a small off white head. Aroma is firm of maple syrup, almonds and soft caramel notes. Hints of hops as well. Taste is sort of thin with light toffee and grassy notes. A little more fruity then i would have imagined and it was definately enjoyable."

"Pours a burnt orange with a small white head. Very smooth taste, and very easy drinking. Nothing too spectacular, but still pretty good. Would expect nothing less from the folks at Bell's."

"A clear amber body, and a disappointing head. No lacing to speak of, either -- what a bummer.
The aroma was mostly malt, but can usually expect that in an Oktoberfest beer.
The flavor is weighted more heavily by malts, but the hops do a fair job of keeping things in check. The aftertaste is all malts, though, and they have a nice way of coating the tongue.
Carbonation is a bit on the fizzy side, and the initial mouthfeel is somewhat light. It is smooth, though.
Overall, not a bad rendition of this style, but there's definitely room for improvement."

"Batch 8038. This marzen pours a medium orange copper color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, toast and slightly hoppy. A light to medium bodied marzen. The malts are caramel and toast. The hops are floral and slightly spicy. Lively carbonation. The beer has that toasty and fruity character that you expect from a marzen, but it’s a little thin tasting. Not watery or weak, but I was expecting something a little fuller tasting. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter."
