An American wheat ale brewed with Saaz hops. Spicy and fruity, Oberon is the color and scent of a Summer afternoon.

"This summer brew from Bells is one of my favorites. It starts off very nicely, with a bitter aftertaste. As it begins to warm, however, it gains a completely new taste, and citrus flavor comes out of it. It tastes of oranges."

"Cloudy, deep yellow with some particulates; a foamy white head with light lacing. Mild aromas of citrus and yeast, slightly sour. An unusually full palate for a beer of this style; smooth and satisfying. Flavors are rich and fruity-sweet with a tangy finish. MUSIC: 'Sun It Rises' by Fleet Foxes"

"Sampled from a bottle poured into a hefe glass. The pour is very nice with a bright orange color and lots of sediment that seems to hang in limbo. Pour leaves a small head that dissipates and laces nicely. Aroma is yeasty and malty. The taste is sweet citrus/orange at first and finishes with a nice bittering touch. This is more complex than I'd imagine, although it does tend toward watery. A good beer."

"A summer ale in February? Go figure. Nice appearance as it pours. Golden-irange tinged body. A lot of carbomation and sedementation as one would expect in a Wheat Ale. In the firs sips I was disappointed with the singluar dimensional malty nose and taste. But as the beer sat and warmed the delicate lemony hops were evident. Not a bad drink, even for winter."

"Pours with a deep golden body topped by a thin to medium thick, white head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet and floral with a hint of bitterness and a touch of fruit. Light to medium bodied, smooth and a touch watery."
