Brewed like the stout that made Ireland famous and named after Boston's most memorable mayor, this beer has a lot to live up to. Brewed with roasted and flaked barley and Kent Golding hops, this ale is smooth, rich and very dry.

"Dark brown color, medium head. A medium bodied stout. Deeply roasted malts, very coffee like. Fairly hoppy. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is slightly dry and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Coffee like flavor dominates this beer. Nearly overpowering. Nice taste, but perhaps a bit over the top. "
