In the old days. runners who made it to third base were rewarded with a mug of beer! This is the way the game was meant to be played; pitchers throwing side-armed and a half barrel on the field. Our RedLegg Ale is an American Amber Ale with a rich malty flavor, slightly sweet on the finish. An All-Star in any line up! Malts: 2-row, Caramel, Munich, and Carapils Hops: East Kent Goldings

"Pours a dark copper colour with an enormous white head. Crazy carbonation in this beer. Tasty is semi-sweet, flavors of black cherry, red licorice and nuts. Aroma is decent, nothing exciting- rich malts. Truthfully, I expected a little bit more from this beer, mainly on the APA i had not too long ago which i really enjoyed. but this is a pretty typical average amber."

"From a bottle. pours a clear amber with almost no head. Aroma is sugary sweet. Flavor is sour, like a couple others I've had. Hopefully I can rerate this when I get a better batch. I've drank this at the brewery and it didn't have that shour flavor. Overall, Not impressed. "

"Aroma on this offering is of malty sweetness as well as roasted malt and caramelization with some burnt overtones. Appearance is a rich and dark burgundy in color with a full head on top that is light-tan to brown in color and is well carbonated leaving fuzzy and rocky lacing on the glass. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and damned tasty with tons of caramel malt character and balance that showcases complexity of the style. Flavor is of sweet malt, caramel, toffee, some vanilla, as well as some sweet malt with not much of a hoppy-bitter backbone with an aftertaste that is almost dessert-like with the caramelization and has a finish that is well-rounded and very wet-like with roasted malt character and creamy nuttiness. Overall, I am quite surprised with this brew and it is much, much better than I had predicted; extremely highly recommended here and one of the best AAA-styles I have had to date. "

"An amber apperance as you would expect. The aroma is yeasty and malty with some caramel and dark fruits. The flavor is rather subdue with some citrus and caramel. A rather carbonated mouthfeel. Overall its pretty boring.

"This one pours a reddish brown body with some fairly rich maltiness. There is very low hopping in the aroma or in the flavor. This is definitely an easy drinking amber."
