"From the opening of the bottle there is a heavy wheat smell, which is almost on the sour smelling side. The taste was pretty heavy on the wheat and I didn't find it all that enjoyable. "

"A good looking beer pale amber with white head and lacing. There was too much wheat in the aroma and flavor for me. I missed the fresh flavor and arona that I enjoy in a steam style"

"The aroma is nice with some bitter notes with maybe some slight caramel or oak and is slightly hoppy as well as sweet. The appearance is a nice, red amber to a rustic orange when held to the light and is crisp with a head on top that is small and minimal and discipates to a thin lacing that coats the glass relatively well and is white in color. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied and not too bad at all with some decent malty complexity with some good balance with a palate that is smooth and coats well. The flavor is malty and sweet with some caramel notes and maybe some very faint grain or some slight hoppiness with an aftertaste that is smooth and malty and a bit caramelly with a finish that is relatively refreshing and is wet-like and pretty good. Overall, this is not a bad brew and is decent but nothing special with nice hoppiness coming through; very decent stuff here and could be argued this would be a good session brew...maybe anyway. "
