"Bottle from doubleo. Pour was typical for the style nice head and lacing, amber in color. The aroma was caramel and some piney type hopes. The flavor was caramel, piney hops, some citrus, and some bittering hops too. A touch of earthiness helps keep the finish dry, clean, pretty drinkable, although the body was rather full for an amber. Thanks, Kyle!"

"This was really rather good. A nice crisp bite of hops...just enough to be noticed without taking too much of a dominance over the rest of the beer. Kind of creamy mouthfeel. Grapefruit, toffee. Really balanced out and very tasty. Will frequent this one during my stay in San Marcos. "

"An orangish amber apperance. A caramel and orange aroma. The flavor is rather bitter with some nutmeg, lemon, and grapefruit. A creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good."

"Good approach; nice amber pour with decent head formation and some lacing. Aroma is dominated by hops (strange for an "Amber" or ESB, whichever it wants to classify itself as), but with some of the sweet amber malts coming thru. The taste was also dominated by the hops, which I wasn't overly excited about since it says amber ale on the bottle. Still a decent brew, but it left an unappealing twang as an aftertaste."
