"Tasted at the 2004 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. Dark orange gold color. Small to medium head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A medium bodied Old Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are slightly bitter and grapefruity. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. "

"draft Pizza Port San Clemente (BTW, ’Back Street’ is Lampost Pizza in Ladera Ranch) it’s a dirty brown color, dry flavor, but doesn’t have anything notworthy"

"A burnt wood color to it with a soapy small head. Kind of a bland funk to the aroma. Has an earth dirt and dark fruit thing going on in the body. I am impartial to the style, so i suppose its aight."
