"Nope, dark beer like this one shouldn't be sold in big bottles. A nice small one is acceptable but the risk is the alot will be left over in a half liter bottle, unless you really really like full and dark and quite boring beer."

"Dark amber, brown beige mediumsized head. Raisins, plum, a bit roasted malt in aroma. Sweet plum in flavour along with weak hints of caramel. Not among my favourite dunkels. "

"500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. The 4.1% and the 4.7% B.B. Dark versions were sold side by side, with a different label. This version pours relatively light reddish brown with a moderate off-white head. Moderate aroma of caramel malts, hints of oak and roastiness. Flavour is relatively sweet and one-dimensional of caramel malts, but not unpleasant. Notes of fresh rye bread. Light bodied, easy drinking."
